Laboratory Assistant, part-time, 1-2 days/week

An unique opportunity to work part-time while studying. Join us in making the world more sustainable by replacing single-used plastics.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will perform tests according to standard methods as well as Yangi's own verification methods, to support our Laboratory Engineer in verifying properties in line with product requirements.

We are looking for an independent, thorough and structured individual, with great communicative skills. Preferably you are studying within relevant area (Laboratory Technician or equivalent), though not a must.

Main responsibilities

  • Plan and perform measurements according to methods in the laboratory
  • Participate in operational activities and trials
  • Support in developing our lab together, both in terms of measurement methods, equipment and working methods 

Qualifications

  • Preferably experienced in production or laboratory work, though not a requirement
  • Ability to thoroughly document and analyze, as well as having an eye for detail, quality and accuracy
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of Excel
